Coach Brooks was born in Dallas, Texas and Graduated from Pearland High School in Pearland, Texas, where he played under coach Tony Heath. He received his bachelors degree from the University of North Texas with a double major in Kinesiology and Business Management. After college he began his career in coaching at Victoria High School in Victoria, Texas. He became a member of the Texas High School Coaching Association in 2007, which has allowed him the opportunity to network with coaches and other professional members. With almost 10 years of coaching experience, he has developed and implemented personalized programs for athletes who have excelled at every level of competition. Coach Brooks specializes in offensive training, training QB’s, WR’s, and RB’s on a weekly basis teaching position fundamentals from beginner levels to highly advanced levels. In 2014, DeMarquis obtained his Master of Business Administration in Strategic Leadership from Amberton University, which has readied him to develop and launch True Buzz Athletics as a Co-Founder. Coach Brooks has a unique formula for the success of the True Buzz Athletics family, coaches and athletes.  Coach Brooks often volunteers his time at college football camps around the state and local youth teams to share his expertise.
